The add went on to clame that açaí provides increased energy levels, improved sexual performance, improved digestion, detoxification, has high fiber content, improved skin appearance, improved heart health, improved sleep and reduces cholesterol levels. In fact , the add as much as declared the acai berry as the new cure all for every disease going.
That was enough for me. I was sold, but first i won’ted to learn a little more about these acai berries.
well, I first checked with Quackwatch (non-profit organization that combats health-related frauds and myths) and the free encyclopedia, Wikipedia. They both reported that Acai has only itermediate antixidant potency, scoring bellow mango’s, strawberrys or grapes.
As for all the other clames of great health benefits obtained from the acai berry? Turns out that there just claims. I have been unable to find a proper study of the benifits of consuming Acai Berry Supplements other then they are a mild antixidant.
So in conclusion, no mater how meny Acai supplements you take, they wont be responsible for you loosing 30 pounds in 30 days.
